Airsoft Tactics for Individuals
Airsoft article by: OnTarget Airsoft
Considering the realism involved in airsoft, it's no surprise that airsoft tactics are much like the tactics one would use in a real battlefield. After all, the objective is about the same - protect yourself from enemy airsoft fire while flushing out and eliminating your opponents. Many airsoft tactics are common sense and follow basic combat skills taught by the military. Let's take a look at some easy to use airsoft tactics:
Obstacles
A good airsoft tactic for an obstacle (like a fence or a barrier) is never look over it; look around it. Looking over it exposes more of your body to your opponent, and they are probably expecting you to look over the object. By looking around it, you keep yourself compact and out of sight. The less of your body you expose, the less of a target you present.
Stay Down!
Another common airsoft tactic is to keep yourself on the ground as low as possible. While this seems easy enough, players often get caught up in the adrenalin of the game and start running, which makes them an easy target. Consider that when you are upright you present the biggest, easiest target. Make sure you keep your airsoft gun out of the water or mud when low to the ground.
3-5 Second Buddy Rushes
when assaulting an airsoft objective with a teammate, use the buddy rush method. You may need to practice this a few times before the skirmish to get it right. You and your teammate alternate rushes for 3-5 seconds towards the target, while one of you puts suppressive fire on the objective. Utilize cover and concealment along the attack route, ensuring your rush ends at a spot that will protect you from enemy fire (a tree, log, rock, etc). Use hand signals to indicate when you are ready to move or lay down suppressive fire. Your stream of airsoft ammo will keep you opponent down while your buddy moves forward.
Fool your opponent
If an airsoft player continues to shoot at an enemy, it usually means that they have a good angle on their target. If someone is shooting at you continuously, you need to change position as soon as possible. However, if you have a good position on your opponent, you may want to consider hesitating with your shots, making them think that they're safe. This can draw them out in the open making them an easy target. This is a time tested airsoft tactic
Quick Glances
When you're on the airsoft skirmish field, take quick peeks rather than long gazes, even if you don't see anything or anyone. The goal should always be to minimize your exposure as an airsoft target. Remember that your opponents are practicing their airsoft tactics too, which may mean they're just being patient, waiting for you to expose yourself long enough for them to get off a shot.
While these airsoft tactics employ basic and good common sense, they can easily be forgotten when you have your mind on your objective and forget to exercise patience on the field. If you remember that the game is just as mental as it is physical, you'll be a much better player. Keep these Airsoft tactics fresh in you mind and you'll have the advantage.

Got some Airsoft Tactics you want to share?Loading...
wow dude the 3-5 sec buddy rushes is a really good idea ill have to try it thanks
When you do move the diddy in your head should be. I'm up they see me I'm down. To rush as a team. Every member should be covering the one rushing. If you move as a team you will survive as a team. Know the difference between cover and concealment. Cover means you have something solid between you and the enemies bb's. Concealment means that you have a camouflaged pos that obstructs your enemies view of you, like a bush. Utilize hand and arm signals to communicate with your team. Silence is golden on the battle field. Don't shoot the first person you see. there may be others on his/her team. Put your team in the prone and wait to ambush, after you see the other team members. Always lay a couple as a base of fire and flank your opponents. This draws attention and distracts the other team and allows the rest of your team to flank without being detected. Happy shooting
I think that it would be nice if you did specific tactics for different guns like springer's, aeg and gas
I have used these same tactics and worked out PERFECT
I have used these same tactics and worked out PERFECT
I love airsoft man!!! its so fun! ecspecally with teams and snipers! these skills work man thanx.
hey there another good airsoft tatic is to wait til your enemy is reloading then open fire, rush with an automatic, peferiblely gas or electric, or just throw a grenade. i perticularly like to rush with my buddy/squad and open fire. the enemy usally will run , turn and fire a bit, but about 89% of the time it works. 6% i fail and need to fall back. 5% i take in a few shots but it still works
The buddy rush is also known as leapfrogging and is really effective. The only thing that can stop it is a sniper shooting at the guys supressing, because he would most lkely be out of there range.
For the buddy rush, i hav a 249, do the cover fire tactics change as opposed to an assault rifle? such as longer burst times and such.
Got any tips for a recon player in a battle? I've just been given the job and I'm trying to be good at it.
First and foremost you DO NOT ENGAGE the enemy. Do not be drawn in to a fire fight from probing fire. ( common tactic to displace and draw out enemy forces). The recon team is essential in snooping and gathering vital info. Camo is very immortant. Camo everything. Don't wear goggles. Find a goggle type face mask that is mesh then Paint it flat black. Glare from goggles will give you away every time. Camo up and have your other team members try to spot you. Recon needs to be trained for. Look before you leap. Know the pos you are going to. You don't want to run into an enemy pos or get miss aligned to other team members. Have a good hand signal system in place. Carry Bino's No sense in getting super close if you don't have to. Carry guns with high ROF. If you do get caught you want to lay the smack down and get the hell out of there. Carry a pistol. I use mine for up close kills. I also have a plastic bayonet for knife kills. hahaha I can get real close sometimes. Pay attention to your shadow. If you can see it, the enemy can too. Avoid areas with leaves, many dried sticks or branches. Crunching and rustling leaves are a dead give away. When you move, do so slowly. Human eyes are more accute to catching fast movement. Stay in shadowy areas as much as possible. Stay as low as possible. Don't be a fraid to get dirty. Don't wear alot of gear that will slow you down. Reconnaisance is usually done with a time line. Use reverse planning to stay on time. Over time you will become more attuned to your surroundings and gauge the most likley avenues of approach by enemy forces. Depending on the size of your recon team. You may be able to set a base of fire, then if your other team members get caught then the base of fire would draw the enemies fire to let the others escape. Always have a rallying cry and a rally point. So many times I see teams just loose it and get wasted because their team gets separated. They just get hunted down and taken out one by one. Especially if I am doing the hunting. Hopfully this helps you.
Thanks this is gonna help so much. Can't wait to try it out. :)
Flank your objective, decoy the decoys, make them think what you want them to think, move fast! train fast! work faster! check out old military tactics from napoleon's era, use tactics from the first world war, just twist them about into gorilla warfare, they really work, surprise your opponents, I DID!
I am my teams primary Sniper, my designation is Sabre 1. I usually work solo, but my commander recently assigned a "Cover man" to my operation. His primary job is to watch my back and to ensure our retreat if the situation calls or if we are comprimised. It is here that I will point out that we play in an urban area, 3 acres of land with decently built 1 and 2 story buildings. We've gathered enough stuff to make it look like a small abandoned city and recon is much different in this type of area.
A large portion of the tactics my operation includes is a psychological game. Shooting from certain positions will make your opponent think the way you want, for example, shoot one at the right angle and they will think you are behind them, or flanking. Simply putting a shot in a specific place can control the movements of your enemy, thus allowing you to custom-route them where you want them. Yesterday my two-man unit were tasked with closing off a small section of our city so our tactical demo squad could lay a mid-fight ambush. We cut off an entire street which was about 50 yards and with 1 rifle pinned down all 6 of the confused OPFOR, and being able to pick off their medic. During the 6 minutes we held them down, our Demo team put in place a Claymore and 2 mines. The remaining 4 OPFOR from that unit were taken out by a single claymore and our secondary sniper team re-routed their targets into the minefield, which left 1 remaining OPFOR. Our assault team (6 Riflemen) moved in on the guy, but since our commander offered up a $50 bounty for the last guy alive, I picked him off at about 120 feet.
pretty sweet i usally run every where in cover then when they think iam somewhere i move fast and get them me and my cousin played up on the scarp hill yesterday and he got me in the back of the head ow!
I am now the sniper for my team and i dont know any tips for how to play it. Tips please?
well me and my friends play airsoft a lot but our feild is small, usually ill take command just becuase my entire life i want to be a SEAL (HOOAH) and i studied their tactics. First i assign recon, while we throw some branches together to create a make-shift bunker. I do a lot of recon if im not the leader though. So for sniper i stay low (crawl low) and if they look at you dont move. It works. If they raise their gun, plug em, but 75% of the time they dont notice you. But after that be even more careful in case they told their squad captain. Never fire right off the bat, wait to see whose all there, sometimes if they all gather together and you fire it creates confusion. Also check to see where everyone is and watch your surroundings in case you need to bug out. Know your ranges. Tape your gun in camo gauze or cloth, especially if your gun is clear or shiny. Buy a silent gun, last year i had a spring gun that rang louder than church bells on Easter... it wasn't fun. Follow the tips on this page and youll be good.
thanks a lot Ill remeber these tips
one time i pulled off the move from "the Patriot" Me and my friend were out numbered 5-2 and we were basically surrounded except for a hill. I told my friend (Nick) to get up the hill and he ran up and gave me sniper support and i pulled out my pistol and hid in a bush. well at first they didnt think there was a guy on the hill until Nick sniped a guy and so they ran up the hill after him. All of sudden I pop out and take out another guy who tripped. So it was now 3-2 and I went back into the bush. They ran back down the hill for me and Nick shot all three of them in the back with his M4 it was insane!
i just have a quick question. Me and my freinds recently created a 5-man squad and i was just curious about some tactics between the 5 of us we have a sniper, a really accurate long range aeg (we were going to use him primarily for cover fire), and the other 3 are just normal 370-390 fps (.2 gram) assault rifles.
my question is with the things that ive listed what kind of strategy and groupings should we do. should we all stick together or split into small groups. anyway you get the idea everything ive read above has been helpful thanks for posting this
it says that the manuals on that site have been removed but the other stuff was helpful thanks...anything else someone can throw my way would be nice just to weigh my options
ok thanks
Another good move to do is try to flank the opponent. First you have to have at least 2 guys shootin at the enemy while one guy goes around and shoots them from behind it works 98 percent of the time if you do it right.
i need some tips for a map with abandoned houses & trees i use ak-47
can enyone help???
what accesories shall i buy for my g-608??
can anyone give me some basic tactics??(im new)
I am a beginer intermidiate player and i was just wondering if anybody new wat kind of gun i should get because right now i am borowing my friends AK 47
I am an ok player I just needs some reel good tips to help
ive used buddy rush before it really works well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just recently decided to take up this sport and i just wanted to let u guys know that yall have been nothing but help thanx!
Another little trick is when firing continusly stop suddenly to make the enemy think you are reloading, then when they come out of cover to fire, nail them... After a while when they suspect what you are doing then you actually can reload without them firing...
Lol.. this is just common sense.. you learn this stuff in your first match ..
ur going down iraq
I see you have lots of experience at this area!
Even though this is just common sense.
But all sense gets lost in adrenaline!
Practice makes perfect, I love training with Airsofts ... so awesome.
these tips worked great, i had me and two people and the other teap had 5 people and we won because we followed these tips
Hi just starting to play airsoft is a Jg MK36k a good gun and any teams in nj recruiting
hey i was a support guy now im switching to a sniper i have a 500fps L96 with a 3-9*50 zoom and a co2 pistol do i need anything else and what are some good tactics
ok i literally have 11 hours 9 minutes till i need to ready for the battle. my team of two consists of a gas pistol (400fps), a JG m4, 2 or 3 smoke grenades, and a riotshield. my opponents (3 people) have a shotgun, sniper, riotshield, and g36. we need help as fast as possible. please help!!!
Ken, you need a good set of binoculars. You may want to invest in a cheap guille suit. The gun sounds perfect. Remember when you are sniping. Take no more than 3 shots from the same POS. The enemy will triangulate your position faster than turkey shit through a tin horn. So 3 shots and move to another position. You should have a spotter with you. He is the one that tells you where you are hitting and what adjustments to make. I realize you are playing a game, but I can't help giving you some real sniper tactics. Always have that pistol ready. Stay as low as you can. Camo you pos and your gun.
simple strait forward love it
is there anything i need to get for my g36 i got the cmag and ima get the m4 combo so that i can play in some games that i cont play in with m cmag and whats a good web sit for me to look at to get drills and tatics down for my team
hey what about hostages? we play hostages all the time!i need tips!
one tactic that i use is when you have a 5 man squad 3 out of 5 go straigt toward the enemy one by one and while one guy is moving up the other 2 give covering fire. As for the other 2 they are most likely to be snipers and both would go completly around the enemy but one would go to the right and one would go to the left. When they both got completly around the enenmy they both would meet up and do the buddy rush with their secondary. So then in the end you would have guys at all different angles shooting the enenemy 95% of the time you'll win the match. This does take pratice so you will have to get your team together and pratice. This tactics should only be used outside and on a somewhat large battlefield.
azfuntimes,
if it were me i would propbably get a reasonably good red dot or an ACOG most ACOG's cost a bit of money and it is very good that you got the m4 combo so that if you're g36 does not work well on one battlefield than can use your m4.
what is a good electirc air soft gun? im looking to spend around $50-$200 and one more thing what is a good sniper same price
i love airsoft and ur tactics are great. would these same tactics work at night?
I'm wondering what guns I should buy.
I was thinking shotgun but you guys seem to like ROF so I guess thats out the window then.
I don't have a clue when it comes to machine guns any gun I have has been given to me except a pistol and I have to give them back soon.
Please reply to my e-mail

What to you do that the enemy have more troops you do when you only have 4 guys??? It happened to me, just me and my commander left, probably about 10 guys a shooting at us, what do we do if that happens again??? Oh, and i am a a sniper, i use my M4....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
you use an m4 as a sniper? spring or electric? if you really want to be a sniper invest in one what i did was buy a colt m1911a1 a panther arms m4a1 field duty kit and im working on the sniper it is a bad idea to use an assault rifle as a sniper as they are usually loud when firing (at least my m4 is) and you could be mowing people down plus the lost distance and fps id buy a spring sniper thats really quiet if you like a challenge and a cheaper gun otherwise try to get a battery powered semi sniper.
I'm always up front for my team and I use a classic army mp5 and I'm always telling people where to go who's where and what's what. Being in front is excited and nerveracking. I've had plenty of guys walk by but didn't shoot because of other enemies close behind. So all in all stay in communication range of you're team mates never engage unless you HAVE to and stay low and fast! And I'm looking to buy a gas blowback m9 for a decent price. Anybody know where I might be able to find that? If so please email me at nkempf95@gmail.com
anonymous, if something like that happens, you should send to or three people as bait to attract the enemy and have 2 man teams that flank the enemy shooting at the bait(optional:have a two man team go around to the back of the opposing team). My tactics only work if the enemy group takes the bait.the bait should have 2 full autos and the flanking teams should have assault rifles and snipers
Heres a tip. If your using P-mags or E-mags in an m4 or m16, they don't always feed in semi automatic. So fire some rounds in full auto, then switch it to semi and dry fire once or twice to make them think your out of ammo. then switch back to auto an light em up. This may not work an all guns though.
Rushing at your opponent when they are reloading is a terrible idea. i want someone to rush at me while im reloading, thats why i have a secondary always loaded. soon as i hear or see a rush, i quickly switch out and take em down
Cool tips. If you have two or more ROF guns in your squad, you can do the buddy rush until you flank and surround the enemy, then just move in and waste em. This doesn't always work with enemies more than 5.
I dont normally go to actually big fields... i like to and i found a good gun for my siduation... currently because i normally do some backyard battles... and my guns suit me but beside certain tactics i do know what do do... espically when im pinned down with what low cover i have... the buddy tactics work great but i dont have an assult teams to back me up its normally me + maybe 1-3 people vs 4ish others... its more of cqb tactics. Because i dont have a sniper or spotter because it low head count battles. i need better tactics for 75 meters about of wideness with some fenses and some great plant cover. Please help and give me tactics. Respond hear or email me at always2amuzed@gmail.com (email would be better)
I'm a intermediate in airsoft and so far my best tatic is stay concealed. Whenever i was on patrol with a partner a sniper and ak47 started shooting and got my friend. However they did not get me because i concealed myself (by a bush) then waited and both the sniper and ak47 shooters came by and i got them. So two words STAY CONCEALED.
I am the head of my airsoft team (Commander, Sniper, Tactics creater, Manager, etc.) i have found a new tactic VERY helpful in battle. I found if you have two rifles with an FPS of 380 or more use one as a sniper and the other as a mid-range sniper. Use the long-range sniper to take out up front snipers in which are attempting to attack rifleman, or attack men. During this procedure the mid-range sniper has an opportunity to take out the oppositions Long-range sniper/s . I hope you may use this tactical in battle and be successful. Good luck.
These are great :) Thanks a million
im looking for a good gun for $120. i've been considering the 410 fps jg 2010 for $115, but im wondering what u guys recomend. i need it to be semi and full automatic, high rof, and high fps. i do many jobs on my five man team, but mainly i am an assault squad member. i also need a gun that, on the rare ocation a mrmber of our normal suppresion fire team cant make it, i could be gunner
hey guys. Ive been airsofting for about a year now. but if u and ur commander r pinned against a large force, make em think ur more armed then u really r (i.e throw a shitton of explosives if u have em of unleash some extra ammo wildly) obviously if ur low on ammo or trying to hide dont do that because then u will be out of ammo and they will surround you..and u will end up with a lot of welts :P
Sniper Rule: The one who moves the most is the frist dead meaning, move at a steady pace and always stay alert. The last to move usually last the longest which is why snipers dont get hit as often as a submachinegunner.
These are very good and useful tactics. One thing I would like to say however, is that it isn't the gun that makes you good...it's your mind. You have to have good tactics and planning. That said, having a good gun never hurt anyody (except your target).
In response to skywalker: a good gun for around $135 (I know, more than your budget but still) is the Crosman Pulse R 76. Full metal, around 420 fps (The website says 370 or sumpin, we clocked mine and it was really 420). Is acurate with a reliable red dot sight. I removed the folding stock because it makes the gun lighter and reduces noise, plus it breaks easy. The gun has adjustable sights and four tactical weaver rails for mounting stuff on it.
Also, I am the leader of a three man team, we have a regular infantryman, machine gunner, and me, the tactics, strategies, and camoflage expert. We have found these tactics useful in the field, but would like to add my favorite tactic to your list. Ambush...it always works for me. Learn the paths your opponents take and set a well thought out trap. Wait until they pass your postition and then open fire when they have their backs to you. It always works for me. Good luck.
I'm going into a skirmish for the first time tomorrow with a mp5 airsoft gun and I need some advice please help!!!
ok so im a good airsofter and i got a 450 fps AEG 1928 thompson (gangster version)and im lookin for some rushing tactics cause im a new commander and I still need work on that. I use a 400 fps tri shot shotgun as my secondary gun. so if somone can help me get back to me by 2 weeks.
Tommy (this is long but you should take a look),
Rushing is attacking the enemy head on in a fast manner. From what I know the idea of rushing may seem good but it isn't nearly as effective unless done right. I would always suggest you try to flank your opponent if/when they are distracted. Even when it doesn't seem like there is an opportunity I can almost guarantee you'll find one if you force them to draw attention to other places (cause an imbalance on the field).
Anyways, back to rushing. If you are going to rush you will want to be as safe as possible or you'll be getting your guys shot. Knowing where the enemy is key. I don't know how many times I've sat in my well hidden foxhole and the OPFOR (opposing force-bad guys) doesn't notice me, rushes up to a tree rather close to me to take cover and take some shots at my guys and becomes a very easy shot for me. Binoculars would have helped them spot me much earlier.
Speaking of taking cover, plan out where you will be going! When rushing you definitely need to know exactly where you are going, how you are going, when you are going and if its safe enough (cover) AS A TEAM (meaning everyone should know when, where etc) (radios, HAND SIGNALS & communication are key) so that people will be able to give suppressing fire and you don't get lit up.
Rushing can sometimes win the match, but it can also backfire or land you in a well planned trap. Often times our team is prepared for a rush and sends a small squad around the back of the rush while the others hold off the front. This puts the rushers at a big disadvantage because now they can't take cover without having their backs exposed to us (who do have cover). A good way to keep that from happening is keeping a couple people in the back to fend off a small counter-offensive.
If anything, focus more on deception and flanks.
I totally agree with James. Also, when rushing put your full auto or fast-firing troops first and your spring gunmen and gunners in back. Snipers should definitely not charge. They should stay back and give cover fire or flank the enemy. And as a squad leader, always know where your troops are.
If anyone needs any help at being a squadron leader, I can always give useful advice. If you are setting up a squad, you need someone with a long range gun like a sniper (I just got a guy to join my team.) You will need a gunner or a guy with a high rate of fire, and an infantryman (Who basically does any other job needed...like reconnaissance.) For you I would recommend getting a good assault rifle. Also, a squadron designation (Codename) for each member is a good idea. Mine is Stinger, my gunner's is Killer, my infantryman is Shadow, and my Sniper is Slayer. Our squad name is Ghost Squadron (yeah, kinda was influenced by some video games.) So...if you need any advice I'm here to help.
i dont have an airsoft gun and im geting one for my birthday i really want the spring m16a6y assult rifle and the spring pistol the rifle comes with grip silencer and flashlight is it agood gun or do u think i should get another one
these are some real basic tactics. but don't be fooled. even the experts have to use the basics.
There are never any DM's posting in these things. Im not going to go on and on about my position but I feel it needs to be explainded A designated marksman or DM is sort of a cross between infantry/scout and sniper.
Be very careful rushing the enemy, the idea of rushing isn't to kill the enemy its to either break them up or get through them, im a big fan of flanking both sides at once if its done fast most oposing teams will break and run.
ohh yeah never run away, running away is not a tactical retreat this is acceptable its like a backwards "buddy rush" or leap frogging.
know your team mates know your gun thats the best advice I can think of
I was recently called as a scout in my neighborhood scout. Got any tactics?
Where can i get a good m4??!? I am in need of a good gun and have a battle coming up soon... what attachments should i get?
Thanks
Thanks for the tips. I just finished a large-scale battle and employed many of these tactics. However, I unfortunately found out the hard way that sniping is not effective during night combat. Instead, employ ambush tactics and use CQB/CQC wepons such as shotguns and SMGs. Also, the best camo for night warfare is NOT black. In most cases, a dark purple or a navy blue is your best bet (I have no idea why, but it's true). Oh, and glow BB's work both ways, alerting your enemy to your position, but allowing you to be more accurate. And don't use flashlights unless necessary, and if you have to, turn it on and off quickly, so your enemy cannot pinpiont your location.
Call your hits.
This all sounds like awesome stuff. I was once in a paintball war and got out(shot, I didn't quit). Both while I was in and out, I got great views of experts using the buddy rush method. It worked great, because:
(a.) They had all the good players,
(b.) We didn't, and
(c.) Only one person was rushing. A sniper with a ghille suit, a triggerhappy assault gunner, and the rest of his team covered him. I wanted to try this, but no one would answer my requests for backup. (I was the only one the opposing team could see, so my team hid. Cowards.)
Hey threepio, you could consider me a DM. I do both CQB and sniping very well and don't do much else.
Ethan, take that springer M16, get you a good tall hill,
and you practically OWN the place if you aim good.
I love to do this with a spring M4 Carbiine. Don't get any more spring pistols unless you take awesome care of them or they're metal.
I recently did a post similar to this. The national guard trained us to use "I'm up, they see me, I'm down." to time the buddy rushes.
I was just playing another large scale battle.(Literally, i mean i finished an hour ago.) This time, i was serving the role of a snake. In essence, you have to run across the field, until you get to the main position on the map. Then you hold it until your guys can make it to you.It sounds pretty simple, but it is insanely difficult. the main problem is holding the pos. you have to get to the pos. fast, thusly, you cant carry lots of supplies, or amo.I have a 450 fps., 1000rpm. monster with a mosfet chip, which is perfect, at least statisticaly. But all that power comes at a price, and it weighs a ton. Thats not good. Good attachements include a bipod, and a decent optical attachement. Ive also found that its helpful to assign a mule, or somebody who carries you gear to the pos.
Call your hits
Yes calling your hits is important. When you get hit, and cheat, you can get people very angry. I generally play that, if I hit someone, and they don't say I did, I will just go full force and unload on them. The pain will normally make them call it.
A much funnier way to expand your enemies in a tree line is by throwing a dummy grenade works everytime lol
You should add always look behind you too. because flanking is a really common tactic and thats how most of my teammates get hit.
Im a realy huge fan of airsoft and also a pro these advises will get you to being a better player. Have a nice game!!
That helps a lot thanks
I'm the primary sniper for my team I recently started heading out before the round starts to take up a good possition it works out great we have gone undefeated since I started doing it
i got some smoke grenades and flash bangs do you have any ideas or any advice you can give me on ambushes and is there any thing i should watch out for while when or after i use them
I am going into the Marine Corps when i graduate and most of this is all common sense like the 3-5 second skirmish, thats used in iraq on the open desert, but besides this, fallow these tactics and you can become a great soldier
Have all your team together unless there is a sniper. Never spread out after knocking out some of there guys throw a smoke/Frag grenade at he enemy and charge! all of your team run and scream and charge at them!
First of all I want to say that I think its a bummer that nobody has posted on here for a while... SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND!
I have been interested in airsoft for a while and I have been wondering what some good guns would be. If someone could help me out and recommend some good AEGs within $200 (I don't want the more common variants such as AK, M4, M16, G36) that would be very appreciated!! I just hope someone answers...

I have an ak with a lot of different magizines i need a secondary any advice for me.
to anybody wondering a great way to distract enemy forces if you have any smoke grenades throw them in the opposite direction lets say for example there are two paths leading down a small hill into a town and you know that your team will get destroyed if you go straight in on path one well take path two but throw some smoke grenades on path one so they focus on that and the bulk of the other team will not notice unless they are smart that this is a diverson hope this helps i do this alot at my field and 99.9% of the time it works
It may be common sense, but I am going to drill it into my team. I have seen lots of people get shot by overexposing themselves to an opponent.
My friend and i are having a one on one what kind of position sould i play? I am using a spring gun, a shotgun and two pistols. about an area of 120 yards
I recently had the opportunity to do some training with a small unit in the army and some key points are: MAINTAIN YOUR FIELDS OF FIRE
NEVER GO INTO A AREA ALONE
USE BOUNDING OVERWATCH WHEN MOVING FROM COVER TO COVER
WATCH YOUR TEAMMATES' BACKS
STAY IN FORMATION
STAY IN CONTACT WITH YOUR OTHER TEAMMATES
I am starting airsoft and am playing recon/scout I have co2 desert eagle and aeg m4 do u have any good tactics?:)
Me and my son play AIRSOFT when in Spain cos he is only 11, can't play any local games as he is too young, I tried the patient hide and wait tactic it was brilliant two main Spanish guys from other side one sniper and one support tried to flank our team, thet did not have a clue I'm there watching them, they were sup prised when they felt my g&g cm16 commando, loved it as these guys were great players who normally rush people with knife and gas pistols, really want a good sniper rifle, not sure what's the best option gas or other, I would definitely recommend this sport even at 47 years old and the oldest on the field I still felt able to play most roles, the one thing I would tell newbies is to make sure you wear proper boots to protect your ankles etc and try to protect your knees with pads, I twisted my ankle and shredded both knees last week rushing a position and going to quick went flying, It is very easy to end up on your own thinking yeah I can do this, but you soon learn to stick as two to three and move together giving cover to eachother as you push forward.
I think AIRSOFT will be around for some time it's a very realistic feeling in a battle and being the last man in is epic,,,,as my son says!! ENJOY AND PLAY SAFE ,,,

I have been playing airsoft for 5 years. out of all of my years i have never owned a worse weapon than the cyber gun FAMAS first off with .2 rounds it is innacurate as a crosseyed blind man next the magazine it comes with mine broke when i got in my first battle with it it didnt feed the bbs at all. Next my favorite gun is the tompson m1a1 that I own it is as accurate as carlos hathcock and will work until the day I die 425 fps 5years old. My mp5 swat assault rifle is amazing very high fire rate plenty of tactical rails 5 years old still shooting great. My newest gun is a M16a1 B-E-A-utiful gun accurate high fire rate and is the perfect gun for a vietnam setup like I have.
