Long Airsoft guns all have one thing in common: they are awkward to keep steady during aiming. A few pieces of good gun gear can make all of the difference in your ability to hit the target shot after shot.
Sling:A gun sling is the most useful piece of airsoft gun gear. Not only does a rifle sling provide safe, easy firearm transport in the field, it can also be used to steady your aim without a gun rest, increasing your airsoft accuracy. Grabbing hold of the sling with your out-hand allows you to pull the rifle into your shoulder tighter, increasing stability and airsoft accuracy. Another variation of this is to wedge your out-arm elbow into the sling, providing greater stability during the aiming and firing of your airsoft gun.
Scope:Most airsoft guns come with open sights. While open sights are an economical way to hit your target, better airsoft accuracy can be had by using a rifle scope. Gun scopes tend to allow quicker aiming and magnification for use in better target identification. If you want to improve your airsoft accuracy, a gun scope is a must have piece of gun gear.
Heavier BBs:Most people use .20g airsoft BBs due to their lower cost. However, .20g BBs tend to drift at further distances. To increase airsoft accuracy at ranges over 50 feet, try .25g, .28g, or .30g BBs. Keep in mind as BB weight increases, so does cost. Test a few weights to determine which gives you the best airsoft accuracy vs. cost.
Tightbore Barrel:A modification that will help improve airsoft accuracy is to replace your stock barrel with a tightbore airsoft barrel. Tightbore is considered to be 6.01 – 6.05mm in diameter. The narrower diameter keeps the BB from excessively bouncing as it travels down the barrel. This will improve your BBs flight characteristics, increasing accuracy at longer distances. Airsoft barrel upgrades should be done by a qualified airsoft gunsmith.

Here is my 2 cents,only because I want each and every one of you to have the best opportunity to hit me. Not likley though. I appologize bro this is long but neccessary.
THE PRINCIPLES OF MARKSMANSHIP WILL VASTLY IMPROVE YOUR ABILITY TO ENGAGE TARGETS MORE ACCURATELY AT LONGER RANGES. NO ONE PRINCIPLE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE OTHER. THEY ALL ARE USED AS A COHESIVE PACKAGE. THESE FOLLOW ORDER OF PRECEDENCE NOT IMPORTANCE. 1. BODY ALIGNMENT( YOUR BODY MUST ALIGN TO THE TARGET IN THE MOST NATURAL MANNER). 2. STOCK WELD ( YOUR FACE SHOULD TOUCH THE STOCK IN THE MOST NATURAL MANNER AS TO ALLOW THE SAME PLACEMENT FOR EVERY SHOT). 3. SIGHT ALIGNMENT AND SIGHT PICTURE( YOU SHOULD SEE THE CLEAR TIP OF YOUR FRONT SIGHT IN THE BLURRY REAR SIGHT APERTURE ). 4. BREATH CONTROL ( BREATHE NORMALLY AND TIME YOUR SHOTS WITH THE NATURAL PAUSE BETWEEN THE RISE AND FALL OF YOUR CHEST). 5. BONE SUPPORT ( ALWAYS USE BONE ON BONE SUPPORT, AN EXAMPLE IS ELBOW TO KNEE IN THE KNEELING POSITION) 6. TRIGGER CONTROL ( PULL THE TRIGGER STRAIGHT TO THE REAR AND DO NOT JERK THE GUN). 7. FOLLOW THROUGH ( IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SHOT, KEEP THE WEAPON POINTED TO THE TARGET AIMING THROUGH THE SIGHTS AND DO NOT LOOK UP TO SEE THE TARGET, THIS WILL ENSURE THAT THE BB HAS LEFT THE BARREL AND CAN NO LONGER AFFECT THE SHOT.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS ARE: DO NOT CANT THE WEAPON. YOUR GUN SHOULD BE STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN. IN RAPID FIRE SEMI AUTO DON'T JERK THE TRIGGER. KEEP A FIRM HOLD ON THE PISTOL GRIP, BUT DO NOT HOLD IT SO TIGHT THAT YOUR KNUCKLES TURN WHITE. THE STOCK SHOULD BE HIGH IN THE POCKET OF THE SHOULDER. WHEN TARGET SHOOTING USE THE SAME GEAR THAT YOU USE DURING THE GAME. A VEST CAN AFFECT YOUR SIGHT ALIGNMENT AND STOCK WELD. IF YOU PRACTICE THESE FUNDAMENTALS YOU WILL BEGIN TO DO IT BY SECOND NATURE. THIS WILL ALSO BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE THAT THE TARGET GOT HIT WITHOUT HAVING TO LOOK WHERE THE BB'S ARE GOING. PRACTICE SHOOTING AT LONGER RANGES SO THAT YOU KNOW THE FARTHEST DISTANCE YOU CAN SHOOT ACCURATELY. HAPPY SHOOTING

Nice article,just a view on using heavier BB's to improve accuracy.the heavier the bb the more hop up friction is required to maintain its trajectory.

i shoot fire arms alot. have just got an airsoft (JG R36C)and with the iron sight i am not able to hit a 2ft X 2ft target, on single shot. is this normal? or is something wrong?
