Mid Priced Airsoft Guns
Jing Gong the Affordable Airsoft Gun Alternative
Airsoft Article by: On Target Airsoft
Copied after the Tokyo Marui and Classic Army Airsoft models, there are a ton of choices in the mid to low priced Airsoft Gun market. One manufacturer that stands out above the crowd is Jing Gong Airsoft Guns (formerly Golden Bow), or JG for short. Jing Gong Airsoft Company is based out of China and makes some incredibly priced, quality Mauri and Classic Army Airsoft Replicas. In the past Jing Gong Airsoft guns were plauged by middle of the road quality. But, based on feedback from US distributors and users, they have since improved the quality of their products. Their products are now so good, that some distributors in the US have Rebranded the JG line as their own. JG has since dropped the Golden Bow product name, but they are sometimes refered to as GB.
What makes the Jing Gong Airsoft line so great? First, their incredible attention to detail. Many of their guns look exactly like the real steel they are designed after. In fact if it weren't for the Federally required Orange tip you would never know the difference. Next, they incoporate metal gearboxes. Using well built Version 2 and Version 3 (depending on the model) gearboxes you'll get long life, great rates of fire and decent muzzle velocity (measured in Feet Per Second, FPS). Most JG airsoft guns shoot at around 350-360 FPS out of the box. That is more than enough for most Airsoft Battles. Some of the JG models are well over the 360FPS Mark, which makes them great of the more accurate, heavier airsoft bbs (.23-.28g). Finally, they are well priced. Most models are under $200. Many of the Nylon Plastic bodied JG's can be purchased for right around $100. The same Tokyo Marui or Classic Army model will run you well over $300. If you looking to save some money on an airsoft gun worthy of play feild competition, look no further than Jing Gong
Jing Gong's product line includes a wide variety of Airsoft MOD5, M4, M4 Variants, MK36, MK3, Dragunov, AK47, AK74, AKS, Steyr AUG, and more!. Becuase their guns are exact clones of the TM, SRC, and CA guns, you can use most of the parts from those higher end guns.
